What do I do if I've forgotten my password or how to reset my password?
The ePAD login is your Newman University username and password. If you have forgotten either of these then please phone IT Services on 0121 483 2293 or email itservicedesk@newman.ac.uk.

What do I do if I have no wi-fi connection?
Wi-fi or internet access is required to update the nursing ePAD system on ARC.
Can I complete documents on a computer rather than on a mobile device?
Yes, you will need internet access to complete the documents on a computer. It is also possible to complete some documents on a tablet/mobile device and some on the computer. Best accessibility is via a laptop, desktop or tablet PC, however it is possible to update your ePAD via a mobile device.
How should I use the messaging service and what is professional communication with a practice supervisor or assessor?
The service should only be used to communicate with academic and practice supervisors on clinical/professional matters.
How do I report sickness absence?
Sickness absence cannot be reported via EPAD, however its important that you inform your placement areas as soon as possible, and it must also be recorded on your timesheet. Please see the section on recording sickness absence in the student information area of this site.
