Routes into Teaching: Primary

Being a primary school teacher is a rewarding career, where no two days are the same.

You will need to be an effective communicator, and work flexibly and creatively to deliver engaging lessons for your pupils.

You could progress to become a Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) teacher or become a specialist leader in education, supporting others. You might also consider a leadership role, move into private tuition, or even consider teaching at an international school.
