Birmingham Newman University Celebrates Staff Achievements at Annual Awards

On Thursday 11 December, Birmingham Newman University proudly celebrated the dedication and achievements of its staff at the annual Staff Awards Celebration.
The event brought colleagues together to recognise those who have reached significant career milestones and those who have gone above and beyond in their roles.
The ceremony honoured staff receiving Long Service Awards, acknowledging individuals who have dedicated 10 years or more, and those who have achieved an impressive 20 years plus of service to the University. Their loyalty and contribution have played a vital role in shaping our community and supporting our mission.
Alongside these milestones, the University presented the ‘Going the Extra Mile’ (GEM) Awards, which highlight individuals and teams nominated by their peers for exceptional hard work, creativity, and enterprise. These awards reflect the spirit of collaboration and innovation that makes Birmingham Newman University such a special place to work.

The celebration concluded with a buffet and refreshments in St Chad’s Atrium, providing an opportunity for colleagues to come together and share in the success of their peers. The event was a wonderful reminder of the dedication and talent that make our University community thrive.
