The programme prioritises the holistic development of students; alongside academic studies, students receive guidance and support to develop their professional identity, ethical practice, and lifelong learning skills. <\/p>\n<p>*Due to Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRB) stipulations on attendance and competencies that are required to be covered across the degree, the university is unfortunately unable to offer Top Up or advanced entry routes to this course.<\/p>\n<p>Explore the Science Behind Clinical Skills, Exercise,  Health and Human Performance <\/p>\n<p>You will explore key themes across sports and exercise therapy, including training adaptation, injury prevention, musculoskeletal anatomy, clinical assessment, psychology, and sports trauma management.. Through practical workshops, collaborative projects and applied research, you will investigate real-world challenges and develop inclusive approaches to injury recovery and performance. You will also examine professional frameworks such as safeguarding, medicolegal responsibilities, health, safety and hygiene in clinical practice,  gaining a clear understanding of how sports and exercise therapy is delivered in practice. The course requires you to complete a 200-hour placement in your final year of study.
