You\u2019ll film and edit short videos; you\u2019ll capture behind-the-scenes moments; you\u2019ll spot trends and you\u2019ll be adept at jumping on them too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will need to balance a varied workload and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They will also understand what does and doesn\u2019t work on social media and have new ideas up their sleeve at all times! Being creative will be a must, as will working closely with your marketing and communications teammates in the Directorate for Student Recruitment, Marketing and Recruitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"essential-criteria\">Essential criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Educated to a degree level standard, or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related. field Proven experience in creating content for digital platforms (web, social media, CRM). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.&nbsp; Experience in writing, editing, and storytelling for diverse audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"main-responsibilities-include\">Main responsibilities include<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Developing&nbsp;a library&nbsp;of&nbsp;student-centred&nbsp;multimedia&nbsp;content reflecting all aspects of university life, for use across all our communication channels including CRM, website and social media.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Working closely with senior colleagues within&nbsp;the Directorate of Student Recruitment, taking briefs and helping to improve personalisation in CRM,&nbsp;enquirer and applicant decision-making,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the representation of student voice.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build relationships&nbsp;with internal and external stakeholders to create innovative and engaging content for our social media channels, in line with their intended audiences.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create&nbsp;timely&nbsp;content for our recruitment communications, to be utilised across&nbsp;pre-entry conversion communications.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Write&nbsp;scripts, captions and other text&nbsp;using our brand and messaging framework, tailored to&nbsp;appropriate audiences&nbsp;and&nbsp;prospective&nbsp;student personas.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Showcase the Birmingham Newman community&nbsp;(students,&nbsp;staff&nbsp;and alumni) through people stories, \u2018list\u2019 content, news features, case studies, advice&nbsp;guides&nbsp;and event coverage.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome.
