You will administer hardship funds, bursaries, scholarships, short-term loans schemes and Disabled Students\u2019 Allowance related processes. You will assess applications for hardship funds, maintain accurate records, communicate outcomes sensitively and work closely with colleagues to monitor expenditure, produce reports and evaluate the impact of financial support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates must have relevant experience in a financial administration role, with strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and experience of working with confidential information. You will be confident using Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets, analyse data and support reporting requirements. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to provide clear guidance to students and colleagues, manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. Experience of working within Higher Education and an understanding of student funding arrangements would be advantageous.
