Acting as the main point of contact on the Library\u2019s enquiry desk, you will help students with library use, basic referencing and finding academic information, referring more specialist queries to the Academic Engagement Librarians where needed. You will also support the development of the Library\u2019s digital enquiry and support services, including webpages and the enquiry management system, and take a lead role in student-facing communications, marketing campaigns and engagement initiatives. Alongside this, you will provide administrative support to the Academic Engagement Librarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for someone who is passionate about student experience, confident in working with people and able to communicate clearly with a diverse range of library users. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with strong digital skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and methodically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A formal library qualification is not essential, but you should have an understanding of the student lifecycle and be willing to develop the library, enquiry and information skills needed for the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome.
