The successful post holder will play a key role in the delivery, development and enhancement of Adult Nursing education, working collaboratively with colleagues across Nursing and Allied Health to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Would you like the opportunity to play a vital role in the design, delivery and future development of Adult Nursing provision within a School committed to educational excellence, student success and interprofessional learning? The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, assessment, simulation-based education, academic support, curriculum development, practice learning activity and partnership working with employers and placement providers. The role will include supporting students in both university and practice learning environments and contributing to the wider academic and strategic development of the School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, with no restrictions on their practice, and demonstrate a clear commitment to maintaining their professional registration and continuing professional development. Candidates should possess contemporary knowledge of nursing practice and education, together with a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where diversity is celebrated and all students are supported to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would also consider applications from candidates who hold a Learning Disabilities Nursing qualification, provided they can demonstrate relevant professional and educational experience and clearly evidence how their knowledge, skills and practice expertise can be applied to pre-registration Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they hold a recognised teaching qualification or Fellowship of Advance HE, or that they are willing to work towards an appropriate teaching qualification or Fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For appointment at Senior Lecturer level, applicants should additionally demonstrate evidence of academic or educational leadership.
