Working closely with the Head of School and Head of Subject \u2013 Allied Health, the successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and implementation of an innovative, contemporary and future-focused curriculum that prepares graduates to meet the evolving needs of individuals, families and communities across health, education and social care settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Would you like the opportunity to help shape a new Speech and Language Therapy programme from its inception and make a lasting contribution to the education of future Speech and Language Therapists? Do you want to become part of an ambitious and supportive School with a clear commitment to educational excellence, interprofessional learning, innovation and student success?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, practice partners, Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies, the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Experts by Experience and other key stakeholders to create an outstanding programme that reflects the needs of contemporary practice and the future workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role will include curriculum design, module development, programme leadership activity, validation preparation, partnership working, recruitment and the development of high-quality learning, teaching and assessment strategies. We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for education, programme development and professional leadership. Applicants should demonstrate substantial experience within Speech and Language Therapy practice together with the ability to work strategically, build partnerships and contribute to the development of high-quality educational provision. Experience of curriculum development, programme validation, practice learning, quality assurance, research, scholarship or leadership within healthcare or higher education would be particularly advantageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome.
