1. Use of Submitted Information

Your submitted profile information will be held securely by the Alumni Office and will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

By submitting an Alumni Profile, you are agreeing that your information will be stored on your record on our alumni database. The University reserves the right to edit any or all of your submitted profile content for reasons of accuracy, appropriate use or editorial needs.

Submission of your information confirms your agreement that part(s) or all of your edited Alumni Profile and/or your submitted profile picture can be used by the University for promotional and or/marketing purposes in print or online. The Alumni Office will endeavour to contact you before we use your content in any material to ensure that your information is up-to-date, accurate and to gain final consent for use.

 

2. Your Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to ensure that the content that you submit is accurate and not inflammatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, abusive or likely to offend.

 

3. Disclaimer

The University is under no obligation to publish in print or online, any submitted profile content.

The University has a responsibility under the Data Protection Act 1998 to process personal  data accurately.  This means we will from time to time contact you to establish continuing accuracy of your profile. We reserve the right to remove your profile if we believe it is no longer accurate or is inappropriate for publication.

If you do not agree to our Terms and Conditions, please do not submit an Alumni Profile.
