Can I bring guests?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring friends, family, or guardians. There are Student Finance talks throughout the day that parents often find helpful.

Do I need to stay all day?

Not at all. You’re free to come and go as you please. We recommend attending your subject talk and taking a campus tour to get the full experience.

Is parking available?

Yes – free parking is available in our student car park. It will be clearly signposted on the day.

How do I get there by public transport?

Birmingham Newman is well connected by bus and train. Check out our travel guide for help planning your journey.

Is the campus accessible?

Yes. We have lift access to all floors and our team is happy to support any accessibility needs. If you have specific concerns, please contact us in advance.

The School of Nursing and Allied Health (SoNAH) has a number of new academic posts as the school grows and expands its provision of Nursing and Allied Health programmes.

The SoNAH has introduced both undergraduate and post gradute pre-regsitration routes in Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing and we are expanding our academic teams to support this.

The successful post holders will contribute to the development and delivery of our nursing and allied health undergraduate and post graduate provision.

Would you like the opportunity to  play a key role in the planning and delivery of nursing provision within the School of Nursing & Allied Health at Birmingham Newman University? Do you want to become part of a team with a clear commitment to outstanding education and support for our students and each other? If so, we are seeking mental health field nurse academics and or experienced clinicians who are student focussed, approachable and willing to contribute to the development of Birmingham Newman University portfolio and vision of Nursing and Allied Health programmes.

Candidates should have up-to-date knowledge of mental health field nurse education and a commitment to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is afforded equality of opportunity. Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have either a recognised teaching qualification or HEA fellowship or a willingness to work towards this. Applicants will need to hold current NMC registration and be committed to maintaining this.
