Open Evening Information
Wednesday 14 May 2025
4pm to 7pm
Welcome to our information area for our next Open Evening on Wednesday 14 May 2025, we can’t wait to see you.
The Open Evening will start at 4pm and finish at 7pm.
What to expect at our Open Evening
Meet our academics
Our Postgraduate Open Evening is centred around a ‘drop-in’ style with academics from all our postgraduate subject areas.
They will be available to chat with you about our courses and your options for study at Birmingham Newman University. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions and help you to decide the right pathway.
When you arrive on campus, we’ll greet you and point you to where you can find all of the subject areas and support services.
As this is a drop-in event, you’ll be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, so feel free to take your time and explore everything at your own pace.
Take a guided tour
On the day you can book a 30-minute Campus Tour in the lower St Chad Atrium.
Having a campus tour is the ideal way to get a flavour for what life is like at Birmingham Newman University. Our student ambassadors will show you around our teaching spaces, library, sports centre, and social areas.
Chat to Student Support Services
We’ll have our Student Support Services available throughout the evening. This includes:
- Student Finance
- Admissions
- Accommodation
- Student Success
- Student Union
Who is the postgraduate evening suitable for?
Our postgraduate evening is designed for individuals who have already completed, or are in the final stages of completing, an undergraduate degree and are considering further study at a postgraduate level.
Whether you’re looking to advance your career, change direction, or deepen your expertise in a specific area, this event will provide the information and guidance you need.
If you haven’t yet started an undergraduate course, this event may not be the right fit just yet — but we’d be happy to direct you to resources that can help you get started on your academic journey.
