How to apply

Whether you’re applying for an undergraduate, postgraduate, part-time, or teacher training course, we’ve made the application process as clear and supportive as possible. Here’s how to get started:

Step-by-step: your journey to Birmingham Newman

  • 1. Find your course

    Start by exploring our course pages. Once you’ve found the course that inspires you, click ‘Apply Now’, on the course page, to begin your application

  • 2. Choose the right application route

    Depending on your course and study type, here’s where to apply:

    Full-time undergraduate

    Apply via UCAS. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to register

    Part-time or Postgraduate (excluding PGCE)

    Apply directly through our MyNewman application portal

    PGCE courses

    Apply through the Department for Education’s apply service

  • 3. Receive your offer

    Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll let you know if you’ve received an offer. This could be:

    Conditional

    – Pending exam results or other requirements

    Unconditional

    – You’ve met all the entry criteria

  • 4. Accepting your offer

    If you applied directly, you can accept your offer through MyNewman

    If you applied via UCAS, you’ll need to choose us as your Firm or Insurance choice

  • 5. Meet any conditions

    If your offer is conditional, make sure to send us your results or any outstanding documents as soon as you have them

  • 6. Get ready to enrol

    Once your place is confirmed, our Admissions team will be in touch with everything you need to know about enrolling and preparing for student life at Birmingham Newman

  • Welcome!
