What do I need to study Accounting and Finance at university? 

To study at Birmingham Newman University, you’ll typically need 112 UCAS points. What jobs can I get with an Accounting and Finance degree?

What do you study on this degree? 

You’ll explore topics such as financial accounting, management accounting, audit and assurance, taxation, investment and risk. Modules include double-entry bookkeeping, financial reporting, performance management and capital markets. You’ll also complete a final-year dissertation or strategic finance project.

Assessment includes computer-based exams (CBEs), reports, presentations, case studies and financial modelling tasks. How much does the degree cost and what funding can I get? 

For UK students, tuition fees are £9,535 per year for 2025-26. Fees are reviewed annually and may increase in line with inflation.
