Travelling to campus
By Bus
- From Birmingham City Centre: X21, X22, 23
- From Yardley Wood via Cotteridge or Northfield: 18

By bike or car
If you are commuting by bicycle or car and using a Sat Nav system, use postcode B32 3NT.
We have dedicated areas for cyclists to store their bikes while on campus. Limited free visitor, student, and staff parking spaces are also available for those commuting by car or motorbike.
By rail
Several railway stations are located within three miles of Birmingham Newman.
Travelling via the Nottingham–Cardiff or Birmingham–Hereford routes
Take a direct train to University Station, then catch the X21 or X22 bus. The bus stop is located on New Fosse Way, just outside the station, and is listed as University Station (QE). Choose the stop marked “Towards Quinton, Weoley Castle”.
Travelling from other stations
Change at Birmingham New Street for Kings Norton Station. From there, take the number 18 bus directly outside the station.
Birmingham Newman is also around 10 minutes away by taxi from either University Station or Kings Norton Station.
