This programme offers an inspiring, research informed route into the study of education and the contemporary challenges education faces. Adopting a multi-disciplinary approach, this degree draws upon psychology, philosophy and sociology to explore contemporary issues.
The programme support students to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning, inclusive practices, curriculum design and educational policy, as well as key skills for future practice in a wide range of roles.

Explore Curriculum, Context and Inclusive Practice
You will examine key themes in education from inclusive pedagogy to curriculum design and social justice. Through collaborative projects, reflective and practical workshops and community-based research, you will investigate real-world challenges and design creative interventions to support diverse learners. Work-related learning is embedded throughout, with a work experience module in your second year preparing you for a variety of roles within the education sector.

• A-Level: Grade profile of CCC or 96 UCAS Tariff Points.
• BTEC: Grade profile of MMM. This can be achieved from either an Extended National Diploma or a combination of smaller BTEC qualifications.
• T-levels: A T-level with an overall Pass (A*-C) grade.
If English is not your first language, you must have the following IELTS score:
· Foundation courses: A Secure English Language Test equivalent to IELTS 5.5 IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
· Undergraduate courses: A Secure English Language Test equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Fees
All fees are shown in GBP (£).
The tuition fee for academic year 2026/27 is: 9790. Tuition fees for courses starting May 2026, fall within the 2025/26 academic cycle.

Please note: If this course includes a Foundation Year, the fees shown above apply to the Foundation Year only. Fees for subsequent years will be charged at the standard undergraduate full-time fee.

Additional costs
The University will review tuition fees and increase fees in line with any inflationary uplift as determined by the UK Government, if permitted by law or government policy, in subsequent years of your course. Roles in schools can include Teachers, Learning Mentors, Family Support Workers and Education and Mental Health Practitioners. Roles within the wider community include Project Coordinator and Community Education Facilitators as well as Local Authority Officers, Educational Content Developers, Educational Psychologists and Arts and Museum Education.
