This programme offers a professionally accredited and engaging route into the study of the core areas of psychology, with specialist modules focused on neurodiversity across the lifespan.
Discover how psychology can help us understand and support neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD and other cognitive differences, and promote inclusive practices across education, workplaces and wider society. Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), the course provides eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), an essential first step towards a career in professional psychology.
You will explore the core areas of psychology alongside specialist topics in neurodiversity, examining how psychological theory and research can be applied to support inclusion, wellbeing and development. Throughout the programme, you will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to make a meaningful difference in a range of professional contexts.

You will study the core areas of psychology, including biological, cognitive, developmental, social and individual differences, alongside research methods that develop your ability to design, conduct and evaluate psychological research. You will also explore specialist topics in neurodiversity, applying psychological theory to better understand and support neurodivergent individuals across a range of settings.
Dedicated content focused on neurodiversity, will help you build the knowledge, analytical and practical skills needed to promote inclusion, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

• A-Level: Grade profile of BBC or 112 UCAS Tariff Points.
• BTEC: Grade profile of DMM. This can be achieved from either an Extended National Diploma or a combination of smaller BTEC qualifications.
• T-levels: A T-level with an overall Merit grade.
If English is not your first language, you must have the following IELTS score:
· Foundation courses: A Secure English Language Test equivalent to IELTS 5.5 IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
· Undergraduate courses: A Secure English Language Test equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Fees
All fees are shown in GBP (£).
The tuition fee for academic year 2026/27 is: £9,790. Tuition fees for courses starting May 2026, fall within the 2025/26 academic cycle.

Please note: If this course includes a Foundation Year, the fees shown above apply to the Foundation Year only. Fees for subsequent years will be charged at the standard undergraduate full-time fee.

Additional costs

Graduates of the BSc (Hons) Psychology with Neurodiversity course are well prepared for a range of careers across education, mental health, and specialist support services. The degree develops key skills in critical thinking, communication, research, and understanding behaviour, skills that are highly valued across many professional settings.
With this degree, you may go on to roles such as a SEN (Special Educational Needs) support worker, learning support assistant, wellbeing / Neurodivergent practitioner, inclusion support worker, or teaching assistant. You could also work in roles that support neurodivergent individuals in schools, colleges, charities, and community organisations.
The course also provides a strong foundation for careers in health and social care settings, including roles such as a mental health support worker, support worker for individuals with additional needs, behavioural support practitioner, or youth worker. You may also find opportunities in organisations focused on neurodiversity advocacy, accessibility, and inclusive practice.
