
MA Education
Birmingham Newman’s MA Education is designed for educational practitioners, policy makers and for those beginning their journey in educational research and evaluation.
The programme has two distinct routes:
- Part-time | Online route | Studied in the evenings | Over 2 to 3 years
- Full-time | On-campus route | Studied in the day time | Over 1 year
We offer you an inspiring programme designed to develop your understanding of contemporary educational issues, practice and policy.
Our programme will build your knowledge and skills and empower you to confidently undertake relevant research and evidence-based change in your own context.
We encourage you to think critically and draw on your own experience through a variety of learning opportunities and being part of a supportive community of educational practitioners and researchers.
By completing the relevant specialist module and a Dissertation within the same are area the programme also offers the opportunity for an award in either:
- MA Education (Pedagogy and Practice)
- MA Education (Inclusive Practices)
- MA Education (Leadership and Management) – (online route only)
