We are seeking an organised and proactive Academic Partnerships Officer to join our Quality Office and play a key role in supporting the University’s collaborative provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality academic partnerships, working closely with the Collaborative Provision Unit and the Academic Partnership Lead (APL). You will support the administration and coordination of franchise and validation activity, ensuring that academic standards and quality assurance processes are maintained across our partner network.
As an Academic Partnerships Officer, you will provide essential support to the management and oversight of the University’s collaborative partnerships. You will work closely with academic colleagues, external partners, Link Tutors and External Examiners to ensure that quality assurance processes are effectively delivered.
You will support validation and review activity, prepare documentation and papers for programme boards and committees, and maintain accurate partnership records and tracker to support monitoring and reporting. You will also coordinate meetings, visits and assessment panels, ensuring that key deadlines and requirements are communicated clearly and met.
A key part of the role will involve maintaining oversight of partnership activity, including auditing partner records, supporting the external examiner process, and administering assignment brief processes for collaborative provision. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes with the Quality Office, helping to embed good practice across the University.
The role will involve liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and will require occasional travel to partner organisations as part of audit and quality assurance activity.
You will be highly organised, detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities effectively. You will be confident working independently as well as collaboratively, with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
