
Stephanie Reynolds
Biography
Stephanie Reynolds is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing, Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Adult Nurse, District Nurse and Nurse Prescriber.
She is also a Queens nurse, recognised by the Queens Institute of Community Nursing (QICN) for demonstrating a high commitment to patient care and nursing practice and reflecting excellence in community nursing.
Stephanie is a Senior Teaching Fellow of the Advance Higher Education Academy. Before joining Birmingham Newman University Stephanie was course lead for the MSc Nursing programme at Birmingham City University and has taught across all fields of nursing including simulation, care planning, medicines management and wound care. Before moving into academia Stephanie worked in the NHS as a district nurse and a student placement manager.
Stephanie was awarded personal tutor of the year at Birmingham City University in 2023 and was shortlisted in the innovation category twice for the Student Nursing Times Awards in 2019 and 2021 for outstanding innovations in community care simulated practice for large numbers of students.

Research Interests
Stephanie is progressing with doctoral research into her subject around the perceptions of community nursing within pre-registration nurse education. She has written papers on the subject and presented at conferences.

Stephanie maintains registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is a Senior Fellow of the Advance Higher Education Academy and Queens Nurse – Queens Institute of Community Nursing (QICN)
