We would also recommend that you spend time familiarising yourself with key developments in the education sector by engaging with news articles and wider reading.

During the induction we will introduce you to the teaching team, give you opportunities to get to know each other and provide you with guidance about how to achieve the best in your studies.

Full details of your individual academic timetable, including Semester 2 timetable which may differ, will be available via your university email calendar after you have completed the pre-arrival task online and set up your student login.

All your teaching will take place on Fridays. You will have five modules which includes the Research Project. Modules include: The Whole Child, Education and Technology, Educational Possibilities and the Sociology of Education.

Your programme lead is Dr. Liz Titley (elizabeth.titley@staff.newman.ac.uk). Liz is passionate about educational equality and social justice as well as educational assessment and curriculum development. She has taught across Education Studies, Early Childhood Studies as well as Working with Children, Young People and Families.

We are a warm, welcoming team who have a range of professional expertise that you will learn more about during your studies with us.
